"A good value."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 22, 2012
Our hotel choices were limited because there was a big event in town and we made our reservation at the last minute.. But we were able to find a room at Hotel Aristote, where we stayed for three nights in September, 2012. Given our limited budget, we were satisfied with the room and the quality of service. Brussels is a very multicultural city, and this hotel is in an area where you will see lots of immigrants speaking languages other than French or Dutch, but that was a plus in our opinion, since we get tired of seeing just other tourists. We never felt unsafe in the area. Overall, a good value for the cost of the hotel.
"This hotel worked out well for us"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 7, 2012
We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the train station. It was small but clean, and the staff were courteous and professional. The price was good, and there is a metro station only a block or two away, which made it easy to access the rest of Brussels.

"Friendly Staff - Good Experience"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Mar 21, 2012
Overall a good place to sleep for the night. Staff was very friendly. Has sort of trendy restaurant lounge in the lobby. Hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. Rooms a bit small but the bathroom was comparatively large. On the downside, the "extras" (parking, laundry service, food, etc.) were a little pricey, except for wifi which was free. Laundry was especially expensive (but maybe this is common in Europe). There is only one iron for the whole hotel.
"Central, simple and value"Reviewed by M L of "Champaign, IL" on Dec 7, 2011
Pluses: CLEAN room and lobby. Affordable. Central Minuses: No remote for TV, bedside lamps didn't work, phone didn't work, no breakfast.
"Can't beat the location but needs updating"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 24, 2011
You really can't believe the location of this hotel, right on the Grand Place. The views from the front rooms is worth the price of the hotel alone (which is pretty reasonable). The hotel is in desperate need of some updating with old furniture and details but over it was was clean. The showers were strong and hot and the staff was friendly. Keep in mind that on weekends the noise from the drinking crowd wandering through Grand Place is LOUD. Maybe a room in the back would have been better but even on the 4th floor it was tough to sleep soundly even as late as 3am on Friday.
