Scottish port city Aberdeen has long been an outward-looking place. An Aberdeen city break can take...
"conveniently located"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 24, 2012
It was wonderfully close to the train station, and then the main area of Aberdeen. My room was tiny, but clean and had a comfy big bed along with a tv and complimentary tea/coffee tray. The downside was no free wifi or breakfast, and the receptionist was a little rude. All in all great deal for what you get.
"Holiday Inn Aberdeen - Exhibition Centre"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 29, 2010
This is a large, American-style hotel on the outskirts of Aberdeen. The rooms are of ample size and very clean. There is an excellent hot breakfast. Don't be fooled that is the "airport hotel," however. In fact, it's about a 15-20 minute drive from the airport and there is no shuttle bus. This is in spite of the fact that there is an air traffic control tower next door. Actually, the hotel is fairly convenient for getting into downtown Aberdeen, although you'd have to drive into town. It is much larger and nicer than the other Holiday Inn. however, the latter is better located for walking around town.
