This hotel was okay but was not one of my favorites. Located in Bristol it was about a 40 minute drive to Bath. A little farther than I anticipated. The hotel was extremely hard to find but that could be due to my lack of familiarity with the area. The rooms were fair. Small but very well kept. The beds were amazing soft and confortable. The rooms style just seemed a bit out dated to me. The floor was very uneven and creaked a ton inside the room and outside in the hallway which could be heard very well inside our room. Also the layout of the hotel was more like a maze to find your room. I counted seven different doors I had to go through (not counting the lobby) just to find it. But aside from superficial appearance, difficultly locating, and the unexpected distance it was nice.
"Great place to stay for an early flight"

This was a great location for our early morning flight. It has a lot of character, with a cross between old farmhouse charm and modern updates. They offered us transport to a local pub for a bite to eat after we arrived and were very prompt with a shuttle in the early morning hours for our flight from Bristol Airport. The price was very affordable and we were very pleased with the value. We will stay here again and I will recommend it to my family when we fly to Brisol.
"Friendly small hotel"

This hotel was very convenient for my purposes as I was visiting friends who live in the area. It is also very convenient for Park Street and the City Centre, which are within comfortable walking distance. If you are visiting Bristol for the first time, be aware that it is a very hilly city, so your idea of comfortable walking might not be mine! The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. I am sensitive to night noise so I was aware of the crying of sea gulls, light traffic, some early morning rubbish collection and some drunken revelry on Saturday night but otherwise it was reasonably quiet for a city.
