I stayed here out of necessity as the town's hotels were practically booked. Although I was not pleased with how far the hotel is from town center, I was greatly impressed with the level of service and assitnace provided by the staff. If you have your transport, the issue of distance is of little importance, but if not then you'll be displeased on several fronts, from the location of the closest bus zone to the distance from the train station to the cost of a taxi during rush hour. Decent hotel, awesome staff, but bad location.

Excellent place to stay. Beautiful scenery. Nice, friendly staff. Good breakfast, clean. Hair dryer too! Reasonable rate. Thanks!
"Excellent hospitality"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 25, 2012
Courteous, impeccably clean and helpful in every way. Antiques and tastefully furnished public rooms. Within walking distance of City centre and points of interest. Outstanding breakfast served by obliging server.
"Best breakfast in Bath"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 20, 2012
Within walking distance of shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. Hotel staff were all very helpful and pleasant with wonderful breakfast choices. We had a lovely visit to Bath thanks to Brooks Guesthouse.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel. It was very convenient to all the tourist sites as well as restaurants and pubs.
"Close to the main attractions of the city."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 5, 2012
It is within walking distance of the train station and main attractions. I would suggest going to Cafe de Globe for fantastic Moroccan food.
"A glorious location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jun 12, 2012
While it is a little way out of the centre of Bath, the beautiful buildings and grounds and the glorious views over nearby valleys more than compensate. The only issue was getting bags up the many stairs in the outer accommodation building. Otherwise, a must for a relaxing time.
