"Great rates for the proximity to major attractions"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 29, 2012
Very easy to book using hotels.com and when we finally got there slightly after midnight and they were waiting for me. No problems, no questions asked. Clean room that I would have easily paid more for but REALLY glad I got the rate I did. The only drawback was that it is kind of being behind a couple other business so it wasn't easy to pick our at first but luckily I had looked it up on an Internet mapping service first. The biggest drawback was the lack of affordable WiFi, but the price of the room was so low that if I had to have it I would have spring the extra cash. Checkout was also a breeze! Thanks!

"Great Staff"Reviewed by Lance W of "Valencia" on Sep 25, 2009
Lots of construction in the area. Little bit of a walk to everything but not far. Staff was great. Bed was really hard. Still really enjoyed Cardiff
"Generally impressed"Reviewed by R Mulhall of "DUblin Ireland" on Sep 18, 2009
Our overnight stay was without doubt very comfortable and service was very good as was the food, however, while our room was very comfortable, there was no hot or cold water serving the bath,it seemed to me the water was turned off to save energy etc. That was bad enough but there was only enough hot water for one shower, not very good for a hotel of this quality.
"I'd happily go back"Reviewed by M Bowerman of "Preston" on Jul 27, 2009
The hotel is a little bit out of the city centre but the price and facilites make up for it. The room was very nice and the pool, sauna, spa-pool and steam room made for a nice start to the day. I didn't eat in the resturant because it looked a bit pricey. Parking in Cardiff is very expensive and the free car park the hotel has was very valuable. However, the taxis do rip you off. I drove into the city before check-in and it took a couple of minutes. When I got a taxi later on that night, they took a different route which took twice as long. I had a debate with the driver but it's hard to argue without the sat-nav! Having said that, that wsn't the hotels fault. Overall, a nice hotel which I'd go back to in the future.
