"Nice neighborhood with underground station"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
Clean, spaciuse rooms, although a bit old but well maintained. At 1st we received a smaller room that expected and paid for "club room" but once we asked we were given the club room. I didnt like the fact of giving a smaller room unless I complain, a bit unprofessional but honestly very nice and helpful staff.
"5 Minute walk to Selfridges on Oxford Street"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
Lovely clean hotel close to Oxford Street. Lots of interesting boutiques, restaurants and bars close to the hotel. Friendly staff and great housekeeping of rooms.

"Strand Palace Hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Having stayed here several times before, I was happy to book in for a couple of nights for some work in London. The location on the Strand is ideal for me, right opposite the Coal Hole, which is a great little pub with good food and excellent choice of real ales, as well as being an easy walk to Covent Garden, West End, Holborn, and easy access to Templet, Embankment, Charing Cross or Covent Garden tube stations for travel slightly further afield. Having been refurbished, the room was very clean although slightly on the small side, but in reality big enough for my needs. Check in staff were friendly and helpful, and free wi-fi for the stay was much appreciated.
"Great apartment despite poor customer service"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
We rented a two-bedroom apartment for two nights through this service. The apartment, when we got to it, was fantastic: 2 BR, 2 BA, new kitchen, large living room with great TV. Near underground stop; close to restaurants and shopping. And at an unbelievably low price. Unfortunately, the staff handling our reservation once we arrived at their (off-site) office was not easy to deal with. We specifically asked them to call a taxi cab for us; they called their favorite car service--which could not even find the office. The office is in a rather sleazy area; people were just hanging around outside for no reason. If you cab to the office, keep the cab waiting while you go inside and get your apartment assignment so you can continue your trip to the apartment. Otherwise, you'll be waiting until their favorite, unlicensed car service arrives to pick you up and drive you to your apartment--if he can find it.

Was excellent! Brilliant location and the hotel is beautiful. I got a superb deal, and it was all arranged for me by hotels.com. Can't wait to go back!

Fantastic value for money. Compact but very comfortable. Highly recommended.
"Ibis Heathrom"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
I booked this because the Days Inn in Hounslow where I usually stay when I am working here was fully booked. The hotel is a stones throw from Heathrow and is used by lots of people flying in/out of Heathrow as well as people working locally. Its well priced and a typical Ibis.
