"Good hotel but get a bigger room"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 22, 2013
What makes the Melia an excellent hotel is the staff-- friendly, helpful and professional. The breakfast is quite good. We had a classic room which was tiny-- kept bumping into things- just too small with twin beds. Other than that a good stay. It is a great place from which to access London- two tube stations within a few minutes walk. A good choice

"Great new hotel!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 30, 2013
This hotel was fantastic. New and luxurious, and not as hard to get to from downtown as I thought (DLR was right around the corner, fast and convenient). It was an amazing vacation!

Just what I wanted: modern, near tube, good location
"Great location, solid hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 20, 2013
Fantastic location right off of Leicester Square...close to tube and within walking distance to all of the highlights of the West End. Small and comfortable. Bathrooms are well-appointed. Beds could be more comfortable, but sufficient for the price. Ask for a room on the 7th floor with a view of the City and the London Eye.
"Great location, very quiet, comfortable and clean"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 10, 2013
We stayed for a total of 4 nights, my husband, myself and 2 boys; 12 & 13. The location is wonderful, quiet street off the main street. Service was superb, the breakfast in the morning was great. The rooms are very comfortable, beds are great, very clean. I was very impressed with the housecleaning. The front desk service and doormen where very courteous and always attentive. We were able to go to the Executive/VIP lounge and it was worth it for the boys. They were able to get snacks and drinks whenever they wanted and we could get free wifi while in the club. Again, service was great. I would definitely stay there again, I don't have any bad thing to say about the hotel. We ate dinner the last night in the restaurant and again, wonderful. We usually stay in the US at Ritz and stayed at Four Season's in Puerto Vallarta and I was really impressed with this Marriott...
