"Decent and affordable in Camden"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 25, 2013
The Holiday Inn Camden Lock is a no-frills hotel right near the Camden market. This is kind of a "hip" area and it's pretty interesting and definitely a change from more central London. The tube is pretty close. The hotel itself is decent, nothing fancy. Some of the fixtures and carpet were a bit worn. In the bathroom some of the caulking around the tub was cracked or missing. Also, the noise insulation is not particularly good: one evening I was able to hear another guest upstairs snoring. All of that said, for the price and location, it's a pretty good deal. Hotels in London can be ridiculously expensive, and I've certainly stayed in worse places for more money.
"Loved It!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 25, 2013
One of the most pleasant and accommodating staffs I have ever met!. Not only is the hotel location fabulous with Tube, restaurants, and services all nearby, the complimentary wireless was a blessing. The beds (two doubles!), linens and towels (huge bath sheets; washcloths) were excellent. Will definitely use again.
"Convenient location, great service"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 25, 2013
Very good location near Gloucester Rd and South Kensington tube stations. Great service from front desk, bellman, and concierge. Upon departure needed transport to Surrey for our family of five and the taxi service that the hotel uses was exemplary. We stayed in two triple rooms which were decent but hard to move around in with 2 or 3 people including their luggage.

"Thanks for the B'day cake and stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 24, 2013
The hotel was clean, friendly and very convenient for what my son and I wanted to do for his birthday while in London. The staff was very helpful in giving reviews of places we wanted to visit. (Richard/Concierge). My son arrived very late. Receptionist (Kat) left a note for my son to receive a key and also made a special note that it was his birthday the next day. The hotel sent a very nice chocolate cake. It made his day. Bellhop (Fabio) was very helpful with directions and helping me organize a ride to my onward destination in England. Overall, I stay was fantastic. The hotel was convenient to Underground and walking. The room was comfortable, clean and had very good internet reception. Top marks overall. Thanks for the nice stay Cavendish.

"Great Location and Value."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 19, 2013
The location is perfect and the service was great. The mini-bar bill was a bit tricky but other than that it was perfect.

The location is terrific for getting everywhere in London. Love being on the little park and then also less than a block from Holburn tube stop is great!
