Just what we expected. everything was good except the wash basin drain was full of hair and drained poorly. surprised that the maid service didn't report it

A fine business hotel with great views on the upper floors. The only drawback is that the room service food is terrible, and I am far from a foodie. That said, it wasn't a major problem --- it's not like it is hard to find good restaurants in London.

Best hotel on Bath Road, though restaurants are really expensive...and again, you must pay for internet!

"Top notch and nothing to complain about."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 29, 2012
Excellent stay and very happy with service. The area is not that exciting but was refreshing as alternative since I normally stay on other side of town. Very much a modern hotel. Wi-Fi without encryption but worked well. Didn't test a lot of other facilities. Close to Tate Modern and St Paul.
"Beautiful hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 29, 2012
This was a very nice hotel, however our room was quite warm and the window did not open. Amenities were first rate. Restaurant was fantastic. Service was excellent and except for the temperature in our room, we would have rated it 5 stars all across.
"great family hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 29, 2012
though a short distance outside city this hotel was close to the tube about a 5 minute walk. The hotel staff could not have been friendlier and were accomadating in everyway. The hotel itself was attractive and very clean. The room was spacious and housekeeping kept it quite clean. Anything you needed was provided including a refrigerator which was placed in our room immediately after being requested. The price was right. We did not use the dining room however we did order room service for breakfast one day and it was delivered at the time we requested and the food was fine. This hotel is also close to shopping and fast food restaurants. Would stay again and recommend to friends.

"Great place to stay, great value, very good servi"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 25, 2012
The staff was excellent. The location is in an area with lots to do and near the tube. For the money, this was one of the best buys.
"Can't Get Any Better!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 25, 2012
I have stayed in many fine hotels around the world. This is one of the best, if not the best. London is a beautiful city and the Savoy is located in the best, central location. Walk to theatres, Covent Gardens (great restaurants) and the tube station (Charing Cross) is just a block away. Definitely worth the price for they go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect, which it was. The rooms are quiet and the beds so comfortable. Bathrooms amazing too. Will be back on next visit.Only wish the weather was better!
