  The room was lovely and super clean. The hotel was the perfect location - right near the train station and in walking distance to the city center.

  This hotel was wonderful. The room was beautiful and the food was great. Unfortunately we were only here for one night but we definitely will be back.

  This hotel was conveniently located -- a short walk to the center of York. I think that hotels or B & Bs right in the center would be very noisy, especially at weekends. This hotel has a car park which was great and it's easy to locate off the main road. We got a cheap room and it showed -- very small and on the ground floor next to the front door so it was a little noisy. Also, it was next to the ground floor toilet which smelled of drains the first day we were there but improved. Next time, I would go for the more expensive room. The service was good and very friendly.

  I checked in late (after midnight) and experienced great service. The friendly gentleman upgraded my room to another that was available and did all that he could. Breakfast was nice and comparable to other hotels. The location is fantastic, right across from the Minster Cathedral.

  Hotel was located in a very nice area with bus service that enalbed us to get around York very easily. If we every get back to York, we'd stay here again.
