A Leeds city break takes you straight to one of the liveliest and busiest towns in northern England,...

I was quite satisfied with the quality, service and standard of the hotel. My only comment is that I think that the hotel should offer free internet connection in the room to single women travelling alone. Making such visitors either pay 15 pounds per day (exhorbitant) or go down to the hotel lobby (not safe walking corridors at night) is a very out of date way to run a hotel.
"For the price it was excellent!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 31, 2011
Great location - within 300 yards of the national rail station and next to all the shopping. Staff was friendly. TV was still an old tube, but I wasn't there to watch TV.
"Superior Double is superior to the Luxury Room"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 4, 2010
We booked a "luxury room" which is the highest grade room on hotels.com. When we arrived, they placed us in a "superior double" without telling us, until I called reception after entering the room to clarify our booking. It turns out the Superior room is the better choice -- although smaller in size to the luxury room, it is far nicer (newly renovated bathrooms and bedrooms, better lighting, overall brighter fresher room). Second, the luxury rooms do not have elevator access, whereas the superior double rooms do. Housekeeping service and front desk reception were excellent -- friendly and accomodating.
"The Met - Leeds"Reviewed by Ashley B of "Manchester, UK" on Aug 17, 2010
The hotel was great for a couple of days, had all the essentials (e.g hot water, clean room, good service) but the downside which caught me out was the fact that whilst it has a car park they now charge for it and it ended with a £20 bill at the end of my 3 night stay - other than that I would definately stay there again but i'll get the train next time.
