The stay at The Sandalwood was a pleasant surprise, and I am sure to visit again. It was close enough to the Blackpool town centre and a pleasant walk along the water. Margaret and Pete were very attentive to our few needs and the breakfast was cooked to order. No complaints at all.

I stayed at the Sunnydale for two nights with my family. We were immediately welcomed and shown to our room by the owner, everything in perfect order. The room was simple but comfortable, breakfast in the morning was wonderful and we didn't need to eat again until late in the afternoon. The location was very nice, easy to get to the piers, but not in the middle of the noise. If we are ever again in Blackpool, the Sunnydale will be our choice of lodging.

Sue, one of the owners, was so nice. She provided us with more service that one would expect for the money spent. Great value. I plan to come back and would recommend it to my friends. Don't expect the best neighborhood but I did feel safe at all times. If going by rail take a cab so remember to have the address. Sue gave us complementary coffee and tea when we arrived. The tram is very close by and the day pass served us well. For only a few pounds we were able travel by bus by bus and tram. Loved Stanley Park and all those lovely 'nutsos' roaming the bars. Although not for me, they were great to observe.

Stayed for one night on business and only needed a single room. The room was small, however it was clean and perfectly comfortable. The Bathroom was clean, and the shower had great pressure. It could have benefitted with a curtain over the window. Room had a sea view and was quiet. TV was old and didnt have that many channels and wasn't plugged in, but worked perfectly. Only arrived at 2.30a.m and left at 8.00a.m so disn't have time to enjoy the breakfast. All in all a pleasant stay.

Fantastic little guest house. Very clean. Steve & Arlene were great hosts and a mine of information on what is going on in Blackpool. A bit out of the way from the hustle and bustle but perfect if you like to get to sleep at night. Great breakfasts too.

Breakfast timings are bit late, starting after 09.30 am and late enough for somebody attending business meetings early in the morning. I had to leave early at 08.30 am and when asked for breakfast, said I will have to pay extra to call chef early......Call and confirm with them if you are going to leave early from Hotel
