"Great for the price"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 31, 2013
Overall our stay was great, the room was comfortable and the staff very helpful, The only downsides for me - I wish the bar area food had not been quite so expensive (over 60 pounds for a burger, baked potato, childrens meal and 2 drinks) also when we checked in around 4pm we requested a cot for our daughter, we had to call back twice before it finally arrived around 7:30.

Everything worked, the room was very comfortable, and the service fine. Given many stays at the Airport, this is probably the overall best MAN hotel.

Great Hotel, great staff only issue was the TV was not working properly and had to change rooms. But besides that issue I would recommend staying at this hotel again.

The Sachas is right in the heart of the city. The staff are very nice, they went out of their way to treat me nice. Gina and Dina are the best, and the rest of the desk staff are extremely helpful. Ill see you next time I visit and we will watch the IPL
"Excellent accommodation in central Manchester"Reviewed by Kathleen H. of "Texas" on Nov 28, 2011
Everything was above expectation, except for the cleanliness of the carpets. The kitchen was well-equipped and very clean, as was the refrigerator-freezer. The staff were cheerful, helpful and prompt with solutions at any hour. But the carpets: there was ground-in grime and built-up dust along the skirting boards and in the corners. The carpets in the hallways and elevators also looked dingy. Carpets in a hotel in a dirty city like Manchester have to be professionally cleaned every few months. It's not just an aesthetic problem; there is the of risk pest infestation unless carpets are professionally cleaned on a regular basis. A suggestion: tile the hallways and elevators and install wood floors in the apartment bedrooms. You don't really need carpets, because the building is well-enough insulated and heated. We would recommend the BlueRainbow to friends and associates, but do hope the carpet situation can be remedied soon.

Nothing to complain about here, well maybe the price of drinks in the Victory Pub!! Other than that the food is excellent in the Verve restaurant, even in the Victory. Great atmosphere and the staff are fantastic. Love it!!

"2nd Stay :-)"Reviewed by K Baker of "Liverpool" on Sep 1, 2009
We visited Norton Grange for a second time this bank holiday. Its a great peaceful retreat, 15 mins away from Manchester city centre-15.00 in a taxi, and the spa facilities are great. The beds are lovely and comfortable and the rooms are modern and relaxing. Great value all round, but as expected the bar tariff extra pricey, no worse than anywhere else. Will be visiting again for a nice little break time permitting :-)
