If you are looking for the charm and character of an English Hotel, this is it.Gorgeous architecture. Try and upgrade your room to an ocean view and including breakfast. Fabulous breakfast, close to everything....parking is a bit expensive but for your location it's worth it. Very GRAND in every sense of the word!!
"Durley Dean Hotel in Bournemouth"Reviewed by Alejandra Ga of "San Francisco" on Jan 8, 2012
My boyfriend and I stayed at The Durley Dean Hotel between the 26th and 29th of December 2011 We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel and found our first room to be very nice. after a very small concern was brought to the attention of the reception team (so small it does not need to be mentioned) we were greeted by the hotel manager, within 20 minutes, with professionalism and courtesy and immediately upgraded straight away to a newly refurbished room, also a complimentary bottle of wine was placed in our room. The staff were all very happy and friendly and we got a feeling from the first moment that they would do anything to make our stay more comfortable. Many thanks to all the team and when we return to Bournemouth we will certainly stay at The Durley Dean again.
"Lovely hotel"Reviewed by Sara B of "Maryland" on Aug 12, 2011
We only stayed for the night but the staff seemed very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is a bit out dated and seems a bit like a retirement home but in. Charming way. The hotel does offer free Internet but it would not reach our room on the third floor (the highest floor) so we needed to go down to the lobby to use it. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to shops and restuarants as well as the beach in the opposite direction.
"Brittania Hotel - Bournemouth"Reviewed by Malcolm B of "Irvine, CA" on Apr 15, 2011
For the price, this was not a bad choice. The furniture was a bit dated and the TV on the small side, but the location was great, the breakfast was quite good too. Overall we were fairly satisfied with the room, especially considering the price we paid.

Was only there for one night but the hotel suited us for our stay. Nice and clean and friendly staff. Joined with the other two adjacent hotels and therefore you have access to the indoor and outdoor pools and facilities no matter which one you are in. Close to the pier to walk in 10 mins, but far enough away from all the main crowds.
"Did the job"Reviewed by K Lawes of "Northampton" on Sep 2, 2009
We stayed for two nights over a b/h weekend. It was booked quite late but still ended up being fairly cheap. We had a small room which was clean but was a bit of a trek to get to by going up and down stairs and around some narrow corridors. Our bed was comfy and the breakfast which was included was fantastic and gave lots of choice, all very delicious. The hotel has a pool but we didnt use in while we stayed but it looked very nice.
