Perfect place for a New Year celebration! We had requested a room with balcony overlooking the Eiffel Tower. On arrival we were told that a balcony room meant a smoking room (???) . But after some begging we were given a room with a terrace(balcony to us) and a view of the tower. Other than this clarification the stay was perfect, walking distance to metro and several sidewalk cafes. A great value! Would stay here again .”
Fantastic location - walk out of the hotel and the eiffel tower it right in front of you, Its modern, spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms are big for a city centre hotel. Breakfasts a bit expensive at 20 euros so we ate at a cafe around the corner for 9 euros -there are three just a few yards away. If you are driving into Paris as we did its a really easy hotel to get to being just off the ring road and not far from the motorway but parking is pricey at 28 euros. Its the best hotel we have stayed in in Paris - would definately stay here again.”
The hotel is appropriately named - literally around the corner from the Eiffel Tower and just a few steps from the Seine. My room was very nice - spacious by Paris standards, although I know there are smaller rooms in the hotel as some friends stayed at the same time. Spotlessly clean throughout. My room was directly opposite an overground section of the Metro and I was worried that the noise would keep me awake at night but the windows were heavily glazed and there was little noise except for the bin lorries early in the morning. Staff friendly and helpful for the most part. The location is excellent, and with the Metro opposite all the sights and shopping were in easy reach. Lovely neighbourhood - lots of excellent local restaurants to choose from (I especially recommend L'atome Brasserie a couple of minutes walk down the street, and also Au Petit Tourneau about 25 minutes walk away on Rue Surcouf) - a small supermarket plus all the local stores - pharmacies, butchers, fishmongers, fruit & veg shops - with a market in nearby Dupleix on Sunday morning. My only real quibble with the hotel was breakfast - it was ridiculously expensive especially since there are many bistros and brasseries in the neighbourhood offering freshly cooked food at a much better price - and of course a Boulangerie around every corner. For all the other reasons above, I am happy to recommend this hotel.”
The hotel location was great... walking distance from the Eiffel Tower and also close to the Metro station. The staff was great!! Very friendly and helpful!! The rooms were clean and well decorated. Highly recommended... Will stay there again...”
This is a small, clean hotel in a residential neighborhood near the Eiffel Tower. The rooms are small, but no smaller than is typical for Paris. The neighborhood is nice with a lot of small restaurants and shops. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is located on a small side street, so take careful note of the hotel's location before you strike out to Paris! It could be easy to not be able to find the hotel again. I would recommend this hotel to others.”
The Hôtel Sezz Paris is near the Eiffel Tower – the sight my family wanted to visit most. Several metro lines (within 5-6 min walking distance) get you to all the other places you may want to visit. Their PA approach (a concierge who looks after you, and who really knows Paris / is happy to help) is excellent, and we had great recommendations on places to see / to dine, or on how to best get up the tower with minimal waiting... Rooms are modern & functional, the bath areas are marvellous, and the breakfast buffet is unusually well-stocked.”
Took my best friends to Paris for their 50th birthdays. After searching for hotels we settled on La Serre for value for money in a nice district. We were not disappointed. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We had breakfast one morning which we found not good value so we breakfasted the next day just over the road. This was the only fault we found. It is a good walk to the Eiffel Tower. We also went to the Paris Paradis show which was excellent better value for money than The Moulin Rouge and if you book through Viator you will get a better deal. As this was our first visit we would probably stay next time a little closer to the sights but we would recommend this hotel for anyone who likes walking.”
Highly recommend....a lovely hotel with attention to every detail. Wonderful suite...unfortunately ours did not have view of Eiffel Tower....but we still loved it. You can see Eiffel Tower from hotel courtyard on second floor.”
A great spot to stay in if you want to explore Paris. A short walk from the Eiffel Tower and Rue Cler, a metro station and a RER station within minutes. Get to know the metro -- it can be your friend. To get to the hotel from CDG, I took the RER St. Michel Notre Dame and transfered to the RER to Pont de l'Alma. Paris metro stations typically have a lot of walking and stairs, especially when transferring lines, so be ready with your luggage. The hotel stairs, elevator, and especially bathroom in the room is tiny -- be forewarned. You'll likely only have enough room in the shower to turn around. That's part of the Parisian charm, I guess. Still, I wouldn't mind staying here again.”
Had a very enjoyable stay at the Relais Bosquet, the staff were helpful and polite and the hotel was ideally located for sightseeing. We had a lovely fresh breakfast every morning and the overall feel of the hotel was welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend!”
My daughter and I stayed here for a week while relocating her to Paris for school. The hotel was clean, updated, and centrally-located without being smack in the middle of a very touristy area. Nice continental breakfast in the hotel (which is quick on the coffee; a hard thing to find in Paris, apparently). There were plenty of stores around (from high end to convenience) and residential neighborhoods in the surrounding area. You can walk to Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysees (if you want), but is also a bit quieter. I plan to return to this hotel on any future trips.”
This hotel was clean & the people were friendly. No Air conditioning and the day we were there it was super hot! This is really close to the Eiffel tower so it's worth it! My only problem was that the front desk tried to call a cab for us & the cab company wouldn't come, we had to walk to find one at 530am, not the hotels fault but it was an issue.”
We had a great stay and would stay here again. The room was very clean and comfortable - also close to the Metro and Eiffel Tower. The only drawback was that even though our room was non-smoking, patrons would smoke in the hallway and the smoke would seep in under the door to our room.”
stayed at this lovely hotel in paris. rooms were small but the service was good. had breakfast there as convenient and was on offer. close to tower, we walked everywhere apart from montmartre. loads of good cafes and restaurants near by as well as food shops to die for.”
The hotel is located directly outside Dupleix metro station on line 6. I was concerned that the rooms may be noisy because of this (Dupleix is an over ground station) but we heard no noises at all. the area of the hotal is bustling with good restaurants and is only 15 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower. We booked as a room only deal, and thought the breaksfasts were expensive, so walked 20 metres to Au Dernier Metro, where you could have a great breakfast at less than half the price. The reception staff were pleasant, the room was comfortable and warm. All in all, a great place to weekend.”
This hotel is between The Eiffel Tower and Rue Cler, less than a half block to the Ecole Militaire Metro stop. There are two grocery stores next door, and very good restaurants nearby. The room isn't fancy, but the beds were comfortable and clean, the bathroom huge and modern. My room was on a courtyard and very quiet. My room rate did not include breakfast, but i could have paid 15E for breakfast at the hotel or there are many choices very nearby. There was good wifi in the room...free.”
The hotel was in an ideal location and a friendly neighbourhood. Convenience store opposite was great for snacks and drinks. Only down side was the air con didn't work and it was very very hot in our room, asked the rececption and they simply told us that they could tell (from sitting in the lobby area) that it was fine and working. Excellent room for the price paid, would defo recommend. Chocolate bar downstairs was very overpriced and didn't even look that good.”
Staff were pleasant, room was brand new but European sized (fitting as Paris is in Europe). I did not eat at the hotel. Location was great - 100 m from the metro - but the rooms were quiet. I'm a little disappointed that wifi in the rooms was not available when I arrived as the rooms were advertised as such - but this was just getting installed on the day I left the hotel. Overall, I would stay here again without hesitation if the price was right.”
Enjoyed a brilliant stay in this great hotel. Fantastic location - only a few minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower but a very quiet and peaceful location. Only comment was that it was extremely hot whilst we were in Paris and the room did not have air conditioning but we knew that when we booked so would definitely not mark it down for that reason. Suited us perfectly.”
Paris’ tallest and most famous landmark, the Eiffel Tower stands amid government and residential buildings on the Left Bank. It overlooks the Champs de Mars lawns and monuments including Les Invalides and the Ecole Militaire. Main museums are the Musée d’Orsay, the Musée Rodin and the ethnographic Musée du Quai Branly. The 7th is a popular starting point for riverboat trips.
