This is a great hotel within walking distance of the old town and castle. The staff were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English (even though I was trying in bad French!). After spending a week in the Alps Savoie area in 3 and 4 star hotels, this hotel should have had 5 stars because of the amenities it offered compared to the rest.

Nice hotel on the outskirts of town, but only a 10 minute walk to old town. Room was clean and well equipped, but strangely had a lot of weirdly placed doors. Not a huge room (US standards) but clean, comfortable, and soundproof. Bathroom/toilet was a little small. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel due to it being 20euro, which seemed quite high. Instead, we found a grocery nearby and grabbed some bread and cheese. Only a 10 minute walk to old town, so if you want to save a few bucks and stay somewhere nicer/newer, this place fits the bill.

Clean, affordable, well-appointed mid-range hotel in a great location - walking distance to the lake and medieval center (make sure to visit the market on Sunday morning). Helpful staff, free WiFi, comfortable pullout bed, and a good breakfast buffet. Don't let the location near the train station put you off - highly recommended.

Reception's desk professional greetings was great. We liked the extra touch of complimentary Cappuccino and the like. The hotel appears to be quite new. The furniture has been well thaught of, we liked the crescent shaped dining room table, the mobile TV console, and the couch/comfortable bed. The short walk to the old city is the definite asset. Shorter yet, but not mentioned is the proximity to an air conditioned mall (Courier), and a large (Monoprix) well stocked french supermarket.

Very very difficult to navigate to the hotel with a car. We parked in one garage then had to move the car to their garage. They should have told us beforehand that they had a garage partner and saved us a huge step!
