"Next to the university and the train station!"

This hotel is just opposite the train station, and so is also right next to the university. The area is just ok, but it is a 10-15 minute walk to the old harbor. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the wireless is free. The breakfast is excellent (even for this vegetarian), and the coffee is fresh. You don't have to worry about missing your train, or getting up early to get there! The TV is pay-per-view for anything good, and the choices are limited. But I didn't come to watch TV! The staff was friendly and helpful, with limited English.

Simple and nice hotel. We stayed in the James Bond 007 suite (by room number only). Parking was nearby. Hotel was good, Internet decent, and plenty of shops and food nearby. The largest negative was the lingering smell of cigarette smoke down the hallways which is surprising for a smoke free property. We did not have the breakfast.
"Good Location and Price"

Although located near the train station on a busy avenue, the hotel is very quiet and suitable for business travellers. The rooms are clean and furnished for practical use. One problem is the lack of phone service in the rooms. Staff at the reception are helpful in providing information on where to access services in the city when asked but they they do not volunteer this information. They serve a good breakfast which is included in the price of the room.

the staff at this hotel are outstanding, helpful and capable. Great breakfast, cute rooms - although you will wonder where the bathroom is when you first get in there - its actually cleverly disguised as a cupboard. Its cute in the way pod hotels or japanese hotels are but its got the charm of france - i had windows that opened onto the street and which could be opened if i wanted. i liked that the aircon would cut off if the windows were open, the biscuits and great coffee left in your room and the ease of checking in and out.
"Very Helpful Staff"

I was visiting Marseille for a competition. The staff at the Adagio were very helpful and friendly. While the common areas of the hotel are a little run down (elevators, hallways), my room was great. The bed was extremely comfortable even though it was a pull-our sofa bed. The front desk staff answered my every question promptly. The competition was walking distance from the hotel as well as many restaurants, and a grocery store. So we cooked many dinners in our room. The pool was also nice. This is a very comfortable place to stay.
