"The Inter-Hotel Grand Nantes"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 11, 2012
This was an awesome Hotel. It was not that hard to find and it was close to Commerce which is in the city center. It was quite and the front desk staff were nice. I recommend that you speak French to them because their English was a little broken. However, I only addressed them in French so this might not be the case for you. I recommend this hotel!
"Kyriad hotel in Nantes"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 8, 2011
This hotel was very comfortable and close to downtown. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was quite nice - lots of choices of croissants and bread and yogurt and cheese and cereal. They have a machine that makes fresh squeezed orange juice. The hotel is located right across from the train station, which is very convenient, but a block away on your walk towards the castle are several sex shops that could be disturbing to walk past. I honestly didn't notice them the first time I walked past but then wondered later if the neighborhood is safe or not. I never actually saw any activity in front of any of these businesses, nor did I ever see anyone go inside, even as late as midnight. Still it seemed odd to me. The room key is very sensitive to cell phones and 4 times I had to have the room key remade until someone at the desk told me not to put the key next to my phone.
