"stopover in Montpellier"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 19, 2013
I had an extra day in my business trip and elected to spend in Montpellier, France. I selected the Mercure Centre for its location, near the old downtown. The location was fine and convenient to walking around on Saturday morning in the old city.
"Good value for suite in convenient location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 16, 2012
Citadines Antigone provides a nice apartment/suite set-up in a convenient area (tram in front of hotel, short walk to Comedie/Centre Ville, market building across the street and shops/restaurants nearby). Aside from a few spots that needed touch-up work, the unit was otherwise clean & tidy. We particularly enjoyed the outside balcony/terrace for breakfast and expansion space when weather was nice. Beds were comfortable; lighting was good; kitchenette allowed for light meals. Parking was a little tight, but not that expensive (< 10 Euros/night) and convenient, below hotel. Washer/dryer available. As an apartment hotel, be aware that cleaners are in only 1x/wk. By no means luxurious, but a good value for the amount of space provided. Excellent location; Helpful staff. Would recommend and would stay again.
"Good - would definitely use again"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 7, 2012
Excellent, especially considering the price. Staff was helpful, room was clean, wi-fi was good, shower was good, location was perfect. What more can I say?

"Model standard for old-hotel updates"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 12, 2012
We may have received a Honeymoon special room, but wow, the hotel was in the perfect location proximate to the train but more importantly in the hub of the fun and the lobby area was very well updated and our room was stunning. I cannot recommend this hotel any more strongly and would probably even return to Montpellier inin large part because of the stay at du Midi.

"largest room ever"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jun 26, 2012
overall, the room was very large and comfortable. More like an apartment with spacious kitchenette. the location is outside the city center so you need a car. Also, parking is a little annoying since you have to park on the side of the sidewalk. Breakfast was normal; no eggs or bacon or sausage...just bread, yogurt, juice. No TV in the bedroom- just the livingroom

"Good Hotel for a budget traveler"Reviewed by Joshua B of "Oxford, UK" on Apr 15, 2012
This hotel isn't in the best location but of you have a car or other means of transportation, it works. We stayed with our 5 mo old baby for 2 nights and had a good experience. They provided a cot bed (crib) for free. Just a short drive to center. Close to the freeway. There's a pharmacy and a grocery market and mcdonalds right across the street. Surrounding area was a bit interesting but parking was free and easy. Would stay again.
"A bit isolated but very nice"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 6, 2011
Expect to take the tram to restaurants and tourist areas, but that is cheap and fast. The hotel was comfortable and clean, with a solid breakfast. I would recommend and will stay again if I return to Montpellier.
