"Charming and Elegant"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 13, 2013
We loved the charm and elegance of this hotel. The room was beautiful (Deluxe King Room) and service was friendly and excellent. The only negatives were that the bar and restaurant were extremely over priced (even more than you'd expect from an upscale hotel) and the walls and floors are very thin.
"Terrific location in the heart of Paris!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 3, 2013
Charming layout, super clean, quiet, and ooohhh those amazing beds! The staff is top notch and extremely helpful. We felt extremely comfortable during our 4 day stay celebrating the New Year in style! Hotel Bel Ami is within walking distance to all major attractions.
"Excellent hotel but no wifi?"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 30, 2012
Loved the hotel, the restaurant pumpkin soup ... Excellent. Fitness room was great also. My only issue is this hotel does not have wifi. They do have wifi in the lobby for a huge fee.

"Close to Champs Elysee"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 6, 2012
This boutique hotel was everything I imagined. Beautifully decorated for the holidays, wonderful staff, lovely dining room that overlooked a courthouse festivally decorated. A must stay!!
"Stunning location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 13, 2012
Living in the US I often stay at W hotels, and i am pleased to say that the W Opera did not disappoint! The location opposite Opera Garnier was just perfect, absolutely stunning. The hotel itself was everything you'd expect from the W - polite, good service, nicely appointed rooms, good vibe (particularly in the bar) and on the whole a great stay. a couple of criticisms are that the staff were almost too attentive, there seemed to be a lot of staff running around at a million miles an hour (felt like i was back in New York!). I found it a little overboard but i suppose i'd rather have over than under attentive! Also, the room was hot mainly because the window was not openable and the air conditioning was set at 25 degrees and only allowed for + or - 3 degrees. I think the hotel should change this as 22 is normal room temperature, but actually i usually like to have the temp set at 19 / 20. They should give the customer the choice of what temperature they would like to be comfortable, rather than dictate a range of 6 degrees that suits them. Besides those 2 relatively small things, i'd highly recommend this hotel, i will most likely stay again.
