The hotel is a charming collection of apartment buildings turned hotel. The service was mediocre, but I think that is the way it is all over Europe. The location is close to great shopping, restaurants, and the subway.
"Charming hotel!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 24, 2013
The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from the nearest metro. It is actually within walking distance of a lot of shopping. The location seems to be in the middle of a lot of government embassies. The street is very clean with some bakeries and small food stands as well as a few restaurants. The hotel itself is very small but very charming. It has a nice little walkway and the staff is excellent. We had a room on the 4th floor which we accessed with a very small elevator. My wife and I couldn't fit in it with our luggage, we had to go separately which is hilarious. When we are without luggage, we fit fine. I don't recommend this hotel for large families. The room itself was small but it was pleasant and had enough outlets for us to use. If I remember correctly, it even has some US style outlets that didn't require an adapter. We'll definitely stay here again.

"Right in the heart of things"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 22, 2013
The hotel was wonderful! It was very clean and centrally located. My daughter and I purchased the open bus tour passes and there was a stop less than two blocks from the hotel. The Eiffel Tower really is as close as was advertised so that when we were getting lost in the city, we always had a guide for how to get home. The restaurants and shops around the hotel made meal times a breeze. We did not eat in the hotel as breakfasts of pastry from the neighborhood boulangerie cannot be skipped for both the price and the taste. I would absolutely recommend this hotel as well as stay again if (when, I hope) I return.

One cannot find a better hotel in central Paris near most things of interest.

Perfect little hotel steps from Luxembourg Garden. Great restaurants in all directions within a 1/2 mile walk, some even within a few feet. We were surprised at the large size of the room: nothing fancy, but plenty of space, a big bed, a full-sized shower, cute updates. The street is loud in the morning, for late jet-lagged sleepers, but no worse so than most everywhere else in Paris. There are rooms off the street which might be quieter, though perhaps those are the larger, more expensive rooms. Bring ear plugs if city noises are a problem for you. I would stay there again in a second.

"Internet down"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 28, 2013
The hotel lost power, internet was down for 2 days of my day, and the staff was unable to help. This was a very big problem, as the purpose of my trip was business.
