"Good for families, if you don't mind some walking."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Other than being a tad far from a metro station, the location was perfect - several grocery stores within easy reach, not to mention the Eiffel Tower. The front desk staff was uniformly nice and helpful. Cleanliness was OK, things a bit worn, no maid service other than once a week. I might choose someplace else for a grown-up getaway but it was perfect for our family with young children, especially to have a kitchen.
"Great neighborhood close to Eiffel Tower"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Though the room and shower were tiny by most US standards, this hotlel is situated in a quiet neighborhood with restaurants and stores close at hand. We were able to wallk to the Eiffel Tower and to bus stops for trips to the Louvre and to Notre Dame. We would stay there again.
"Very good location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Overall very good hotel - great proximity to everything in central paris but neighbourhood was a little strange. Room was very small but the price/value for was great (esp. for Paris).
"perfectly quaint & quiet"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
The hotel was in the a great location, very close to the Louvre and yet since it is on a side street it was very quiet - perfect! The staff was extremely helpful in finding restaurants to eat and how to use the RER or metro to get to tourist attractions. Their breadkfast offerred a perfect selection of food to start the day
"Fabulous Hotel!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 30, 2012
I LOVED L' Hotel de Sers! First off - it's PERFECTLY located. This was my first time in Paris and I was a bit concerned about what area to stay to be in good proximity to landmarks, shopping, food and tourist destinations, but also in a nice, safe part of town. The hotel is was in a perfect spot for all of that. We could walk everywhere, find all kinds of shops, stores, etc and still felt like we were in a quieter and upscale part of town. The staff there are fantastic, the service is perfect and it was a wonderful place to go home to each day. I will, without a doubt, be staying there on our next trip to Paris!

"Good value for family stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 30, 2012
Overall I was happy. The only tough part was that we were traveling with a baby and young toddler. No fault to the hotel, but the Paris Metro system is dreadful if you have to use strollers. 95% have no elevator nor escalator. Since this hotel is at the end of the Metro line, it definitely made traveling to the various sights in the city more challenging and tiring when trying to negotiate the Metro system. That being said we were totally satisfied with the customer service and quality of the hotel. It is definitely a good 4 star hotel.
"Worth it for the bakery!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 29, 2012
We came to Paris as a side trip when we were in London for a work trip. The decided on this hotel due to it's proximity to the attractions we wanted to see, plus we heard the district was very safe. First impression is that this street, and Paris in general, is DIRTY. The inside of the hotel was nice enough, but that ends at the lobby. The hallways were small, and the room was dirty. It was actually larger than we expected, having heard some things about Paris hotel rooms. The view of the Eiffel Tower was good, but not great. We had to look sideways out of our window. The BEST part of the location was the short walk (10 minutes, tops) to the Eiffel Tower. Also, we found a TREMENDOUS bakery literally right around the corner and ate breakfast there every morning, as the hotel breakfast was awful. The bed was hard as a rock, and there weren't enough English speaking TV channels. I probably won't stay here again, but I enjoyed my stay overall.
"It is ok, but it should include breakfast"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 29, 2012
The Hotel is ok for Europe (meaning small as it can be). It is not to far from a metro but it takes several minutes to be in the hot spots. Be aware about the breakfast, it was not clear if it is included and the hotel charges you 15€ per person daily if you take it.
