"Good for families, if you don't mind some walking."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Other than being a tad far from a metro station, the location was perfect - several grocery stores within easy reach, not to mention the Eiffel Tower. The front desk staff was uniformly nice and helpful. Cleanliness was OK, things a bit worn, no maid service other than once a week. I might choose someplace else for a grown-up getaway but it was perfect for our family with young children, especially to have a kitchen.
"Great neighborhood close to Eiffel Tower"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Though the room and shower were tiny by most US standards, this hotlel is situated in a quiet neighborhood with restaurants and stores close at hand. We were able to wallk to the Eiffel Tower and to bus stops for trips to the Louvre and to Notre Dame. We would stay there again.
"Great location in heart of Left Bank"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
This hotel has a terrific location near St. Germain-des-pres, and the staff is helpful and attentive. The only negative is the small size of the rooms, although they are well-appointed. If the rooms were a bit larger I would have given the hotel a 5 rating without reservation.
"Very good location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Overall very good hotel - great proximity to everything in central paris but neighbourhood was a little strange. Room was very small but the price/value for was great (esp. for Paris).
"Best staff , perfect English , best All around"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
I ask my wife if she would return to Paris , her answer was only if we stay at this hotel, we had a view of the Eiffel tower from our room , we had the best time of our lives, the staff is so helpful, we are world travelers , the location is great .
"Classic Paris Hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
We had an updated deluxe room with balcony on the 6th floor. Front desk staff were pleasant but Concierge desk was "hit or miss" with both knowledge and friendliness. It was our anniversary so the front desk sent up a complimentary bottle of wine and some candies which was a nice touch. The only downsides were the king bed was not a real king but 2 twins pushed together which made it a bit uncomfortable for a couple trying to stay close and they were still in "heating" mode so the hotel was quite warm. We had to sleep with the terrace doors open which cooled the room but brought in the traffic noise. Overall though, I would stay again.
"High quality boutique hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
The hotel was great. Trendy, boutique hotel within a block of main shopping area. Great staff. My single room was very quite small and the window opened up to the inner courtyard which was completely enclosed in glass so I had almost no ventilation in the room. The closed was built into the shelf and wasn't long enough to hang a garment bag. The central air didn't seem to work. You should ask for a room facing the outside, although I suspect the larger rooms would have more space. Hotel only gave 1 large towel each day unless you asked for more. Apart from that, great hotel and I recommend it.
