"A Hidden Gem- Great Location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel which was very close to the Champs Elysee and the metro but on a quiet street. It has a boutique hotel feel with homey comfortable lobby rooms with a very French aesthetic. If the weather had been better, it would have been an easy walk to the Eiffel Tower other attractions. The room was a little small, but then again, we were not in the room very much. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
"newest it neigbourhood"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 25, 2013
The hotel is a charming collection of apartment buildings turned hotel. The service was mediocre, but I think that is the way it is all over Europe. The location is close to great shopping, restaurants, and the subway.
"An Perfect Week"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 25, 2013
I've been to Paris before, but had never been in charge of making arrangements. I was looking for a small, modern, affordable, non-kitchy hotel in an interesting neighborhood. Le Citizen was all of that. In fact, largely due to the wonderful staff, this hotel far exceeded our expectations. The staff helped me make dinner reservations for several chic eateries before I arrived. They advised us (when asked) while we were there and were willing and generous about researching on our behalf. There was breakfast each morning (long hours 7:30-11.... great if you've got jetlag or sleep in) which was made as we requested it. The room itself was small... we may have has the smallest in the hotel (Room 5), but it was bright, and clean, and very comfortable. We had a pretty view of the canal (all the rooms do). I would definitely return. Many thanks to Laure, Patrick and John (at the front desk and via email) in particular.

This place was great! had everything you ever wanted with in walking distance and it was only a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower! Will be back to this place again!
"Convenient to Metro"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 24, 2013
We really enjoyed our stay. A metro station is about 20 meters from the hotel. Many destination required some train changes but I think that is typical of most locations. Of course the rooms are small, this is Paris. Three of us were in a triple and we got by just fine. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. One gave recommendation to a nearby restaurant, Le cLin d'Oeil, where we had the best dinner of our 5 night stay! One minor complaint was I thought the mattress was below average...which I find true for many hotels.
"nice hotel but boring neighbourhood"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 23, 2013
love the hotel, its right infront of you as soon as u come up from the metro escalator. But the only downfall is the neighbourhood at night, its pretty shaddy, my wife didnt feel comfortable at all at night. And there is 1 night across from the hotel, there's a free food distribution to the homeless station set up. No decent restaurant nearby at all, we ended up eating some chinese food which is sad when we are in paris for a getaway.
