"close to the Blvd de la Croissette"

I think the stay was comfortable. My daughter had difficulties in our room to get adequate wi-fi connection. The breakfast by the hotel is not something to write Mom about. For 25 euros they can do a lot better in Cannes so we did not choose to eat our petite dejeuner there.
"Great service, decent room"

We had a pretty good experience at Hotel des Orangers. The standout feature was the friendly, high-quality staff who spoke English very well. The location was good--close to the beach and the old city, and an easy walk to the strip. Breakfast was expensive (15 euros per person) but it was quite good. Downsides were (1) the lack of parking nearby (the hotel only has a handful of spots reserved for guests so we had to hunt for street parking), (2) less than ideal climate control (if you turned the ac on it quickly became too cold, but if it was off the room was too stuffy), and (3) the room was quite small.
"Great stop for 1 day in Cannes"

I booked this hotel that offered swimming pool, restaurant and pleasant garden, on the edge of Cannes, since we were arriving in the evening and staying only a day. In town centre you'd get a closet for same price. Room was clean, bathroom very good, included TV and A/C but it did not have fridge. In summer, travelling around you DO NEED a fridge !! Staff was friendly, it was very pleasant stay. Fairly priced. Note: it says its next to the airport, but its tiny airport where private planes use and its closed overnight. Easy to find off the freeway.
The location is perfect! The hotel is pretty clean. The funniest thing I thought was the elevator. It is a super narrow elevator. When checking in and out of the hotel, we had to go up one person at a time with the luggage. We stayed in the suite which had a bedroom on one end and then a pull out sofa in the living room. It was nice to have the toilet and the shower/bath separate while we had 3 people, but I would have liked a sink in the toilet room b/c after going to the bathroom, I then had to wait to wash my hands when others were done with the shower room. Otherwise the hotel was pretty clean and I totally loved the convenience of the location.
