Residence alba Rossa

The Residence is situated up in the hills overlooking the Meditteranean...make sure you go for a room with a view! Our apartment was very "compact"...the bedroom was big enough for a double bed only and the living room had a "double futon" and a "single futon", so it was very cozy when all five of us were sleeping. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and there was a nice-sized terrace. The hotel was very new, but they skimped on quality in the furnishings and a lot of things were either broken or broke easily. Our requests to get our broken umbrella and patio chairs fixed were not taken care of during the week we were there. The beach was a long hike down from the hillside (and an even longer one back up!) Towels and bed linens are an extra charge and quite expensive for what you get. Rooms are not cleaned during your stay and you pay a fee to have them cleaned at the end. Office staff was not very friendly.” 18/07/2008
