Clean, spacious rooms, satisfactory buffet breakfast, taxi stands at your doorstep, front desk clerks helpful enough, what more can you ask for?

Beautiful, old-world charm style hotel in a fantastic location. Do try the local Barcas Cafe across the street for your morning cafe cortado and a decent tortilla, where you will see the working locals alongside you. The cafe staff there are a real treat. Don't go to this hotel with a car. It's too difficult, even with GPS. Parking fees are exorbitant. Do not stay in room 424, located at the end of the hallway, directly next to the exit door, which is in constant use throughout the night and thus very loud and disturbing if you are a very light sleeper. However, the view from the window was stunning and a welcomed touch and the shower pressure and bathroom size was excellent, more spacious than expected for such a small room.

Pretty good breakfast buffet. Staff more than helpful and engaging. Vey pet accommodating. I forgot my dog's water bowl. The maid had one brought up for me. Small market next door. Pizzeria and cafes on the same block. Parking in garage across the street for smaller sedans. Rough neighborhood.

All good with the hotel just few things to take into considerations: 1. Internet connection was very-very slow. It worked but to play vids on youtube or whatever was impossible. Also when I connected with the cable in the room. But for basic use it was very good. 2. Bed is OK. Not great. Not awful. Got two single beds for a single stay tho... 3. Reception man sent me to eat a dinner to a place that was closed even when I asked if it's open (it was Sunday night when some places are closed in Spain). He didn't check. Said it should be open. It wasn't. Luckily there were other places around open. I landed on a good spot eventually but.... 4. Asked for a late check out of 2 hours and they wanted to charge me 5 euros per an extra hour. I gave up. But... other than that... all was good. Great location for where I needed, which is not the city center. Taxi to the center costs about 6-7 euros during the day. A bit more at night. If you need the center this isn't your place.

Very nice, clean room. Helpful staff. The concierge was very helpful and recommended us good restaurant near by. Unfortunately we did not use the fitness room but the pool looked very nice. The location was convenient for us as it was walking distance to city center yet on the outside so I avoided driving in the small roads. Also the hotel allowed our dogs to stay for a fee.

Typical European room with twin beds pushed together. Room was overly hot in December with old fashioned wall heater. Needed window open to keep room comfortable, but that was noisy for a good night's sleep. otherwise hotel was great. Close to main shops and restaurants, etc. Staff very helpful. No on site parking, but staff directed us to nearby garage.

Good location and very modern and clean. Food locally with good selection and hotel food god quality. Friendly staff and good views of city from rooms higher up the building.
