Excellent hotel, wiil be booking for next year and will be going all inclusive this time, now we have seen the standard of the hotel. Could do with a TV positioned in the lounge.
"Beautiful hotel--Great value"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 14, 2012
I stayed at the Roc Illetas Playa for 2 nights in a single room. My room was pretty small, but since it included breakfast and dinner it turned out to be a great deal. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel overall was in pristine condition. It is not in the hustle and bustle of Palma, and is very secluded and quiet, but beautiful beaches and cliffs within a stones throw from the hotel. It is about a 35 euro cab ride from the airport, or you can take the 1 and 3 buses for 4 euro total (takes about 20 mins vs. 1 hour though). I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
"Great Place To Stay In Mallorca"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jun 15, 2012
This hotel was in its first week of opening when I stayed there so I have to be forgiving of some issues that I'm sure will be fixed soon. Overall, the hotel is nice, modern and hip. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The pool area is very nice. The place reminded me of a decent hotel on South Beach. Not five-star, but a good place to stay if you don't need all the services that a five-star resort has. The staff are friendly, especially the mood manager who was always interested in what could be improved about the hotel. The check-in staff were also very friendly. As the place gets busier, I'm sure it will be a great place to stay.

Very good. The food is excelent, best so far of the all inclusive hotels we have stayed at (6), Close to sea, quiet area, even it is close to Magaluf. Nice area for walking an jogging in forest. The fitness center needs som upgrading of equipment. One small negative issue:The noice from pool activitites in neighboring hotel Barcelo i unneccesary loud.
"Nice Hotel!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 21, 2011
I liked my stay at this hotel overall. The room was clean, the location was very pretty. Right on a cove with very nice coral for snorkeling and swimming. The location was pretty and not very far away from Magaluf. About a 5-10 dollar taxi. You cant walk though. As a home base to explore the island of Mallorca it is perfect. The things I did not care too much for regarding the hotel were: The "queen bed was actually 2 twins pushed together. For me personally it was fine because I was alone but if was with a female that would have been a bit cheesy. But othere than that the room was nice. even has a stove and fridge! Another thing was the children. I don't have kids and don't mind them but it is tough when they are screaming around all the time. Also the jacuzzi was not hot at all but actually cold.
"Galatzo Hotel"Reviewed by G C of "NY" on Sep 2, 2011
The Galatzo Hotel was a wonderful stay. We were given a beautiful room with ocean view on the 7th floor and it was perfect. The hotel is located outside of Paguera (small town) and they offered shuttle service but we walked into town a 20 min stroll. Hotel was quiet, private and very pretty. Staff were very nice and accommodating to our requests. Our flight was late afternoon so after checkout they held our bags and we got to use the pool and shower services in the spa complementary. The Halfboard deal was great, the breakfast and dinner offer was very good and great selection. Beautiful views. I went with a friend but would be great for family or couples trips very private. Gym was great too. Wine and Sangria great.

"H10 Punta Negra in Mallorca"Reviewed by Steve L of "Gainesville, Florida" on Jun 27, 2011
Great Welcome. Warm reception and a cool drink upon arrival at the front desk. We did not get the room were reserved at first. After three attempts, my wife was able to convince the front desk to honor our pre-paid reservation. Once we settled into our room, our vacation started. The views from our patio were priceless. Quiet and peaceful. The staff was helpful and respectful. Dining was a plus, the food was excellent, but be careful, a local bottle of wine will cost you 25 Euro at your table while only 2 Euro for the same bottle at the store two blocks away. Breakfast Buffet was very good. Fresh food and a good selection for any diet. We are planning our next return. We loved the hotel and location. Its an easy walk to Palma Nova and a simple bus ride to Palma.
