Excellent location for visiting the Historic centre of Salamanca. Very helpful friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Our only complaint was that we booked a non smoking room but when we arrived the room had a smoky smell but leaving the windows open for a few hours fixed the problem. The room itself was very good and clean and the bathroom was larger than the average hotel bathroom.

My fiancé and I stayed here for four nights. It was conveniently located to the metro and a short walk to the main shopping areas. The Gaudi house was a twenty min walk, la Sagrada Familia was quick metro ride away. A few restaurants close by, a bit pricey, but typical for Barcelona. Nice cafe across the street where we got our breakfast!

Hotel is clean.The staff is friendly and helpful.The kitchen is understaffed.The cook,dishwasher,server and cashier duties are done by only 1 overworked,frazzled person.The hotels location is in poor neighborhood with no public transit.Long walk to old town.Nice view of junkyard from room.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were all real friendly and helpful; always saying hello and answering questions as best as they knew. It was also real close to everything that we wanted to see. 5 minutes from the Plaza Mayor and about 5 minutes as well from the bus station which was very helpful since we had a lot of luggage. The only down fall to it was that we were at the way end of the hall and in the mornings it was very very very noisy .. there was construction or something on the other side of our wall and it was very annoying.

Gran Via is a fantastically well-located hotel that offers everything necessary as far as basic amenities are concerned. The rooms were clean and the service was very nice, speaking multiple languages. Parking is slightly difficult, but they can guide you to a lot with a daily rate. Situated right near a major road, and within easy walking distance of the town square and a grocery store, it's a perfect place to enjoy Salamanca!

Location is in an industrial park, quiet, very clean and safe but very limited public transportation on Sunday. However, street parking in Salamanca is easy on Sunday.

Location was great, near Plaza Mayor in Spain. The hotel was clean but the smaller than promised. Staff nice and friendly.

Great place to stay & a nice city to visit. Rooms are LARGE & well stocked with all the needs of a traveler. Hotel says no parking available but lots of parking spots in front of the hotel (all free). The staff is super!
