"Hotel was fine in most aspects including handy location for the metro - poor aircon let it down"

Great out of town location with easy access to the very efficient and cheap metro trains to City and/or Beach, reasonable parking although I think we got lucky with the slot on the street otherwise you pay for the hotel car park. The only, but quite significant, let down was the poor aircon in the room. The first thing we checked on arrival in the room so after some haggling with the staff we got moved to another room where the aircon was exactly the same - rubbish. Spoiled everything really as sleep was a challenge with the windows open and the resulting noise from a party in the hotel on the Saturday night till late.” 10/07/2008
