Great location near the airport but around 15 to 20 minutes away from downtown.
"Close to train station"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 1, 2013
Friendly staff at reception desk. Shuttle driver very professional, good manners, friendly and attentive to our needs. The only thing I didn't like was that I had to walk from reception desk building to another building to reach room quarters. Not a nice walking on cold weather and rainy day.
"Amazing hotel!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 28, 2013
Such a great location close to just about everything that you would like to do and see in Madrid! We walked from Gran Via back to the hotel. We did a lot of walking in the downtown area and never had any issues. Area was very safe. I would DEFINITELY stay here again. Hotel was clean, service was good, and there were train/metro stations just about everywhere you looked.
"convenient for a business trip, very comfy bed"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 20, 2012
Just stayed for the night ahead of a meeting. Conveniently located a short walk away from Chamartin metro station and train station. Clean and nicely appointed.
"excellent business location for Madrid"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 14, 2012
this was an excellent business location and business hotel for my stay in Madrid. Novotel provides all the services and "look" i need. The only drawback was that there was no exercise room.

It is not a fancy place but it is convenient and is in a relatively safe neighborhood. Friendly front desk staff.

"Great 'hood and close to sights"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 31, 2012
This was a great stay! Madrid isn't a huge city compared to NYC where I live but this hotel had a great location, safe, and close to most major sights. It was super easy to get to and from the airport with the Madrid Express bus to the metro. The Santo Domingo metro stop puts you right in front of the hotel. The restaurants, bars were also close and great. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were great. The rooftop pool was fantastic for relaxing. I went with my girlfriend but imagine that this would be nice for families as well. The only negative was that the walls were thin and I could hear some doors closing and the water from the neighbor showering. Not the biggest deal. I would highly recommend this to a friend!

The hotel was lovely, the rooms were a good size with a kitchenette and a bathroom. The people who worked there were friendly and helpful, minus a minor mix up at the reception desk when we first checked in. Apparently we were not supposed to check in at reception but at the security guard post. The metro line was very close, the walk took ten minutes, it was in a quiet local neighborhood away from the center of Madrid and it was nice to come back to after a day in the city. The cafeteria at the hotel was great for a late night snack, it was very cheap and the beer was excellent, the people who worked there were friendly and they remembered who we were after our first visit. Overall it was lovely and I loved the stay and would go there again.
"Clean, Comfortable and Well-Located"Reviewed by Maria H of "Austin, Texas" on Jun 14, 2011
I found the hotel to be above-average in cleanliness, soothing ambiance, and access to cafes, the Metro and shopping. While not located in the popular Central Madrid, it was very handy to the Metro and got me out of the bustling activity of the more popular tourist areas. The Front Desk staff was also very kind and tolerant of my limited ability to speak espanol.
