"excellent location, small room"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
An excellent, central location and surprisingly easy to drive to with parking available under the hotel. Our room was small, under eaves, but the facilities were fine and we had a view. The breakfast is an excellent buffet. All the sights are within easy walking distance. Free computer access in the lobby. A helpful staff.

The hotel was very confusing to get around. The staff was very helpful and the hotel was in a great location.
"Good hotel for the price"Reviewed by Greg S of "Washington DC" on Jan 19, 2012
The hotel met our expectations. Its not a super high quality hotel. The rooms are fairly basic, a little dated, but clean and the location is perfect. For the price it is a great deal. No problems with this hotel

"The Parador de Toledo - June 2011"Reviewed by Patti & Jim D. of "Punta Gorda, FL" on Jun 26, 2011
This hotel is a beautiful historic building set high on a hilltop overlooking the quaint city of Toledo. From our room balcony we could look down on the hotel swimming pool and also look across a river valley and see the city. It was a short drive from the hotel into town, where we toured a majestic 15th century cathedral. The narrow streets are mostly cobblestone and it is very hilly, so travelers should wear sturdy shoes. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was helpful. There was adequate parking for our rental car. We recommend this hotel and would gladly stay there again.
"Great hostal, but not so great location"Reviewed by Sarah of "Los Angeles, CA" on May 12, 2011
This is not close to the city center. It's outside of town. But it's a good value, great staff, very friendly and helpful service, handy bus stop to head into town (be careful of getting on the correct bus and exiting the correct stop on the way back - you exit at the top of the street, near the large tourist center, and cross the street - not all busses go back through Zocodover, despite what the signs say - make sure you ask the bus driver!), and large bathroom (with a bathtub!) attached to my single room. If "downtown" Toledo's booked, this is a great choice. If I had to go again, I'd try to stay closer to Zocodover. A note about Toledo's streets: when wet (as from rain), they can be quite slick. You will want shoes with tread. This is a hilly city.
