"A comfortable hotel in a quiet neighborhood"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
While the entrance of the hotel might need some touch up, the service and comfort of the room were above average and the per night rate quite reasonable. Everything was clean and in working order, and the surroundings were neat and quiet. Another convenience is the existence of an inexpensive restaurant in the premises. Some of the major touristic sites (Mezquita cathedral, Jewish quarter and Sinagogue, Roman bridge ad Museum of Al-Andalus life) and a tourist office are located within walking distance. The commercial section of the city as well as several autobus stops are also nearby. I will definitely consider staying again in this hotel in the future.

"Excellent central location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 9, 2013
Excellent central location next to the Cordoba Mosque; all must-see sights within minutes of walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff and large excellent breakfast buffet. Clean and nicely decorated rooms. Great place for the location, quality, and price value. Would definitely stay here again.

An excellent choice for Cordoba. My only discontent was the surrounding neighborhood. It was quite dark on our walk back to the hotel. Otherwise, it was quite convenient getting to La Mezquita and the room was nice.

The hotel mentions a buffet breakfast and a café... We couldn´t find the café and when asked were directed to the buffet. It was a good buffet, we were just looking for something simpler.

"Great Value for Comfortable Accommodations"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 18, 2012
Front desk personnel were excellent; front desk is manned 24 hours. Each person behind desk was gracious. My Spanish is VERY limited. Stone's throw from the walls of the Mezquite, historic sites, and restaurants. Hotel itself has beautiful interior courtyard and marble staircases. Elevator available for those who are not inclined to take steps two floors. Mine was a single room, and it was clean and comfortable. This is a two star hotel, so don't expect bathroom amenities found in more expensive hotels. Soap and shower gels are provided. I would stay at Los Omeyas in a heartbeat on my next trip to Cordoba.
"In new part of town but close to all."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 15, 2012
We enjoyed the new part of Cordoba and were able to enjoy a nice walk into the old part of the city. The hotel is nice, clean and modern. it is located close to lots of good restaurants and stores.
"Clean and Dry (in wet weather)"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 13, 2012
We got lost at night in a thundering downpour in the winding alleys of the very old quarter where the hotel is located. The paper map did not name all the streets, and the dimly lit, tiny street corners frequently do not display street name signs, so bring your g.p.s. locater. Upon our return at last to the hotel, the otherwise helpful staff observed, "Oh, everyone gets lost here."

I thoroughly appreciated all of the help desk agent, Pepi provided me. She was a pleasure to chat with & always smiling! It was very convenient to have a restaurant on-site although I only ate in the bar area for a late dinner & small breakfast (I didn´t have the "menú"). Juan, one of the servers/barmen, was very pleasant as well.
