An excellent choice for Cordoba. My only discontent was the surrounding neighborhood. It was quite dark on our walk back to the hotel. Otherwise, it was quite convenient getting to La Mezquita and the room was nice.

The hotel mentions a buffet breakfast and a café... We couldn´t find the café and when asked were directed to the buffet. It was a good buffet, we were just looking for something simpler.
"Closest possible hotel to Mezquita"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 28, 2012

"WOW - Beautiful sight"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 30, 2012
large room with good lobby wifi , great outdoor restuarant which has a great view of the city , its in a high end residential area , not close to places to eat if you do not have a car . Free parking is nice .
"Hacienda Posada de Vallina - great value"Reviewed by Doug G of "Mount Laurel, NJ" on Apr 3, 2012
Excellent value. I'd qualify it as european/charming with a local, historic feel.... not like a Sheraton, Marriot or similar (which I personally liked). Pretty light in the amenities. Front desk guy was phenomenally helpful and pleasant. Rooms very small but fine for a short stay. The hotel is right in the middle of everything you'd ever want to do in Cordoba - perfect location.

"Great location, good price"Reviewed by Becky R of "Washington" on Sep 15, 2011
We loved staying in this Moorish building (rooms surrounding an interior courtyard). The room was, without question, very small. And there was there large somewhat ominous wood carving above the bed that made it hard to sit up in bed. But these are minor issues. The place was lovely and 5 minutes from the Mezquita and waterfront. The staff had good English skills and were helpful and accomodating. We felt like we were a part of Old Cordoba and genuinely enjoyed our stay.
"Great Location"Reviewed by Jeff H of "Salt Lake City, UT" on May 19, 2011
This hotel is right next to la mezquita, which allowed me to enter during the morning free. Everything was clean, but the bathroom shower is just a basin with a curtain. So after showering there was water all over the bathroom floor. Overall it is a nice hotel for a night or two. The room is really small so it would not be good for extended stays in my opinion, but for the price and location it is a good deal.
