    For a European hotel I'm sure this is a five star hotel. Rooms are smaller than 5 star hotels in the US but the service was very good. The breakfast was incredible...great meats and cheeses, fantastic patries, and pretty much what ever you want even wine and Cava. Quality was five star. The metro system is an awsome way to visit Barcelona, but the station was a little far from the hotel. All in all a great experience!!!

    After reading some mixed reviews of the hotel we weren't sure what to expect, but the Cristal Palace far exceeded our expectations! Our room was spacious, comfortable and had a decent view. The staff were extremely helpful, calling Iberian Airline daily to help find our missing luggage (highly recommend NOT flying with Iberia to Spain as it took 4 days to get our luggage...). One quick thing, the only bathroom amenity provided is soap, so bring shampoo. The location is amazing - situated directly between Casa Batllo and Plaza Catalunya and about 10 minute max walk from the start of Las Ramblas. Overall, highly recommend this hotel!!

    I knew we wanted to be close to Sants Train Station. This was perfect for that. I knew I wanted the room to not feel like a closet. Great size more along the lines of what we expect in the U.S.A. Rvrn fun to have the robes and slippers in which to lounge. Great view from room with a bar to boot. Great stay. Breakfast was a little overpriced, yet lots of options for everybody. Go for it!

    We really enjoyed our stay at Astoria. We were greeted with a friendly staff. We were upgraded from a standard room to a Suite due to availablitity. It is very centrally located close to many restaurants, shopping, and bars. We only stayed one night due to our tour, we wish we could've stayed more. Definitely recommend Astoria Hotel.

    The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We arrived early and our room was ready by 1030 am. They upgraded us to a room on the 4th floor with an amazing view of the Cathedral. The hotel is in a very ideal location, central to everything. It was a great stay!

    THE HOTEL ARTS WAS GREAT. THE LOCATION IS IDEAL - IT'S VERY CLOSE TO THE WATER SO YOU HAVE A CONSTANT BREEZE - EVEN ON A HOT SUMMER DAY IT WASN'T TOO HOT AT ALL. THE STAFF IS VERY HELPFUL - THEY'LL SET YOU UP WITH ACTIVITIES THAT BEST SUIT YOUR NEEDS. THE DELUXE ROOM WAS NICE, BUT NOT OVER THE TOP.

    We chose this hotel due to the great reviews it has received on-line. The location is awesome, as it so near the Airport Bus, and also near Las Ramblas. Never did we feel unsafe, and we out rather late in the Placa Catalunya people-watching. The only complaint I would have would be regarding a front desk staffer...He seemed a bit overworked, and really was not the nicest when we tried to check in...And he really did not want to answer any of our questions....

    This hotel beautiful and located in the perfect spot. It is close to many tourist attractions and surrounded by excellent restaurants. The service was outstanding. Our air conditioner was rattling and they said they would be up to fix in five mintutes. They were really there in 5 minutes! I highly recommend this hotel.

    We highly recommend this hotel. We stayed there in June for three weekend nights. We had a fifth floor room with a great view. We found an even greater view on the top "pool"floor. Very comfortable beds, spacious enough, larger bathroom and all very clean. Friendly, helpful front desk and comfortable lounge for watching the World Cup. Location: fabulous, quiet, walking distance to La Rambla.

    A pleasant surprise. Good location, an easy walk to the action, but in a quite safe area. Staff was very helpful. Room was larger than the typical European room, but carpet was old and torn. Bed comfortable, good A/C, nice bathroom. For the price, it was a great deal. Like staying in Times Square, it was close enough to the action but not too close. i would stay again
