It's a clean and safe hotel in a safe and clean area, not far from Placa de Catalunya and Ramblas, ie near city centre, but yet very Spanish (eg cafe owners and guests are usually overall Spanish or Catalan), especially when comparing it to the area around the Ramblas. Short walk to Placa de Catalunya and a 10min bus ride from the beach. Just can recommend it! NB: >Ask for a room on the Upper floor: we had a view on the Sagrada familia >don't count on the pool for a work out or so: it's very well photographed but only 1m deep and 2m long....!” 10/13/09
