"Don't see how it could have been better"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Overlooking the Ramblas with double windows that opened (inside and outside) so you could let it all in or shut it all out or anywhere in between. Clean and neat. Service was great. We got to the hotel at 9 AM. They held our bags while we went to breakfast and let us check in early when we got back. At least one English speaking person on every shift (good for us who know very little Spanish). We had an early flight and they had a taxi waiting for us at 4:45 AM. You CANNOT GO WRONG staying at this hotel. It's where you will find us whenever we are in Barcelona!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance of many attractions.
"Right in the heart of La Rambla"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Everything with our stay was absolutley wonderful except the hotel was still on "winter room temperature control" meaning we could not control individual room temps unless we opened windows which then allowed some noise and unpleasant smells to enter. Desk clerks were very pleasant and extremely helpful. Hotel was perfectly located for our stay and touring. Will return in the future.

"Location couldn't be beat"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
We found the Silken Gran Havana to not only be a nice hotel, with clean rooms of decent size, but the location couldn't be beat. Convenient for walking to key city sites, easy metro access, but in a quiet area. We were very happy with our stay there and would recommend if visiting Barcelona.
"Extremely Pleased!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Stayed 2 nights prior to boarding a cruise. Even though we arrived early, they held our bags without hassle until our room was ready. Room was very cleaned, just a bit small (although normal for Europe). All staff spoke very good English. Great location as it is located just two blocks from Plaza Espana where you can catch a tour bus that will take you all over Barcelona. We walked to Las Ramblas in a leisurely 20 minutes and there is an oversized walkway that runs the length of the walk that is lined with georgeous Sycamore trees. Taxi to cruise dock took only about 10 minutes as traffic is lighter than Las Ramblas area.

"Best Value - Best Location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 3, 2012
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel even though I was only there one night. The best part about the hotel was the staff. Everyone was so helpful to make sure that my stay was comfortable and to help me easily find places of interest. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

East walking distance to major tourist attractions with plentiful choice of nearby restaurants and outdoor cafes. Staff is helpful, friendly, and professional. Hotel itself is an oasis of calm and quiet amidst a vibrant, sometimes noisy city.
