Nice hotel. Within walking distance to the Marina to find restaurants but very limited beach access. Not close to the clubs. But overall a nice hotel.

This hotel has a beautiful pool area with sun beds, etc. and chill-out music playing all day... and a gorgeous cliffside vista is easily accessible at the end of the property, and a 10-minute walk down a cleared path leads to a rocky beach, where locals sunbathe and dive off the cliffs. I recommend the breakfast and dinner buffets (lots of choices and delicious, with unlimited wine refills - albeit not the best quality wine). It's a 5-7 minute drive to the center of town, and they will call taxis on your behalf if you don't have a car. The rooms are simple and sparse, but adequate.

Hotel Orquidea is extremely well located just across the road from the beach. The staff were very friendly and the rooms although pretty basic, were well priced and exceptionally clean. It is very much a family hotel. Downsides were, as with every hotel, slightly noisy with people coming in and out and slamming doors. Poolside music in the evening was ok and didnt go on too late in the evening. I would recommend this resort and hotel for good value all round accomodation in a nice resort.
