  Great distance to the airport, close to many other resorts, excellent common areas. Rooms could use some maintenance work. Food was average. Staffs command of English was just ok.

  The Puntacana Hotel is a part of the larger Puntacana Resort. It is a gigantic complex of a hotel, condos, golf courses, a shopping center and the ocean. The Junior Suite we had for four nights was large (it had a large bedroom, OK bath and large sitting room. The included breakfast was good and the coffee excellent. Other restaurants on the property were a little expensive and just average. The beach was beautiful but the water had much seaweed. I would rate this hotel three and one half stars.

  Room was clean, bathroom contemporary and clean. Staff goes out of their way to make sure you are entertained and satisfied. Food was great and presented nicely, very sanitary. For all inclusive they do not skimp on beverages and have many top shelf brands.

  We enjoyed the physical attribues of the resort. Our only complaints are with the food and the late turn down service. It was very difficult to find enjoyable food and sometimes the turn down service would come at 10PM at night!
