No thrills, simple hotel super close to the "old" quarter. If you're the pampering and big rooms type then this is not your hotel. If you're looking for a pleasant staff and short walk to the museums and restaurants then this is your hotel. I would have no qualms returning.
"Everything was great"

This review probably won't be terribly helpful as I arrived around midnight, slept, and left at 9am! I was traveling alone, and the room was very comfortable, everything worked well. With such a late check-in, of course I encountered the night shift guy, and he wasn't quite rude, but definitely apathetic. The guy who was there for the morning shift was a real gentleman. We were talking for a few minutes at checkout and I told him I hadn't had a chance to try the chocolate when I was in Belgium the day before. He made a surprised face and ran to the back to give me some chocolate of his own. I declined, but will always remember that gesture.

This hotel was very nice and clean, and conveniently located 2 blocks from the central train station. The concierge was extremely nice and let us check in early (which was much appreciated). Room was clean, bed was comfy, nothing to complain about. Would stay there again. Not sure about the neighborhood because we were only really there for one night but seemed slightly sketchy (maybe it was just the train station, not sure) Could have been just a first impression, we didnt spend enough time there to really figure it out.
"Helpful staff but hard beds"

Nice hotel but the beds were hard and the pillows so old and thin, didn't sleep well. The staff was wonderful, very helpful with directions. Spoke English. Breakfast was great but only included 2 of 3 nights (weird?). Only negative experience was they tried to charge us for the 3rd day breakfast and mini bar. Free wifi and access to gym around the corner. Not very close to train station or the Old Town but nice walk to both. Took a taxi with our bags.
