  Courteous staff. Clean hotel. Excellent for access to train station...2 block bag-drag. Very much like a hotel found in America. Large bed, ice in hallway and close to the Forum shopping center, with cafes, grocery store, and even a McD's inside. In-room internet worked great, don't forget the log-in sheet from the front desk when you check-in.

  Our favorite hotel of our 5-city tour of Central/Eastern Europe. We stayed across the street from the lobby in a newly renovated room. It was so large and clean. The windows had switch activated shades that blocked out the outside world if needed. BIG bathroom with towel warmers. The lower floors under us had some construction going on which was a bit a nuisance but didn't detract too much. Very good location too. Just across the river from Old Town but also close to Mozart museum and Mirabell Palace.

  Staff very nice, quiet, comfortable,cute rooms.Unfortunately, covered in scaffolding, so the view of castle obscured during our stay.

  Great location near train station and bus line into old Salzburg. Room rate was very good but room was facing railroad tracks. Thankfully, the windows kept the noise out. In the attached restaurnt, the smell of smoke was present from the special smoking bar, although the local Stiegl brew was quite tasty. The hotel internet computer uses a very slow service provider which limited our ability to check emails while on the road.

  Staff was helpful. They even worked quick to get us in on a morning Sound of Music" tour. Town was beautiful and my wife and I walked everywhere we went. We arrived on the weekend so we parked on the street for free. That was nice but even then a parking garage was just around the corner and the cost seemed reasonable. We had tremendous weather and so we had a wonderful time. The hotel was clean and convenient. If you plan to visit research the places you may want to eat. We had a lot of italian simply because that is was we saw the most. Staff would have helped I'm sure we just didn't think to ask before we left for the day.
