The hotel was approximately 1 kilometer from the Wuerzburg Hbf. We took a taxi to the hotel; the fare was approximately 5 Euro. Check-in was efficient and communication in English with the staff was excellent. When we inquired about how to locate the Christmas Market, the manager provided directions and a map to the Market. The walk required about 15-20 minutes and passed through a safe residential neighborhood. Our room was clean, efficient, and spacious and being located on an upper floor, had a good view and was free of most any street noise. Any occasional noise/rumbles came from passing trains. The shower was fine and the water pressure excellent. The pillows were the normal Euro type; not too much heft or fluff to them. Each half of your bed comes with its own comforter. There is no clock in the room. The fitness facility is a full gym with all the equipment you could want. The sauna was superb, set at 86 degrees Celsius. The sauna was complimented by a cold water shower system and a relaxation room with lounge chairs. However, the sauna is closed to men on Tuesday’s after 1100, odd given the coed nature of Germany’s sauna experience. The only negative comment I have is that the location of our room apparently was coincident with where the housekeeping staff liked to gather and converse, loudly, both mornings of our stay at 0835. Overall, GHotel offered a sleek, modern and efficient lodging experience to us. The complimentary apples in the lobby were a nice touch, also!

Nice hotel and was perferct for business, walking distance to great dinning and intertainment. Room was very comfortable and provided all the amminities.
