"Great hotel right across the street from main site"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 27, 2012
We just stayed for the evening while traveling from Amsterdam to Venice but the quality of the hotel in every way was up to par for my American standards. I would rate this similar to a Hilton in the States. We had buffet dinner later that evening and the food quality and service was wonderful

"BW Nuernberg City West"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 9, 2012
Though the hotel itself isn't situated in a great neighborhood - it does offer two great restaurants within walking distance (Chinese buffet & small Italian) as well as the strassenbahn that takes you directly into city center so you don't have to drive, Breakfast was tasty though some of the service folks weren't that friendly.
"Hotel Am Jakobsmarkt - old and new"Reviewed by Donald H of "San Diego, CA" on Apr 1, 2012
The good news - we were given a 2 BR suite for our 3 night stay. The bad news - the suite was on the top floors of the oldest part of the hotel with no elevator and no internet coverage.
"closest thing to a "US Courtyard""Reviewed by Jewells of "Detroit" on Mar 4, 2012
This is the German equivalent of a "courtyard" - simple rooms, nice bar. Pay internet; free in lobby. Best thing about this hotel is it is RIGHT next to the UBAHN (city subway) and the BAHN (national train) stations and a major bus station. you are about 15 mins from alldstadt (old town) and 30 from the convention center. A taxi to the airport is 15 minutes and about 12E, It is 3 stops from the airport on the red line - for 2.8E.
"Good location, next to train station"Reviewed by Tom W of "Chicago, IL" on Feb 12, 2012
Nürnberg is a small town. From the hotel, you could walk to the Kaiserburg in about 30-40 minutes. Longer if you walk slowly and check everything out. The hotel is located right next to the main train station which is very convenient if that's what you are looking for. The staff was friendly and I was even upgraded to a bigger room which was nice. The room itself was fine, I don't spend much time in the room to begin with but it was clean and comfortable. I stayed for one night and it was cheap and worth it. Did not have the food so cannot comment on that.

If you're flying out of Nuremberg the next day, it's by far the best and most convenient place to stay. It's a VERY short walk to the terminal
"Great Stay - Excellent Hotel"Reviewed by Tim T of "Dallas Texas" on Nov 28, 2011
From the outside the hotel does not look like much, but once inside, it is nicely appointed. We had two rooms, 206 and 411. Room 411 was small but comfortable. Both were so clean clean, you could eat off of the floor. It was like we were the first to sleep in the room of a new hotel. There was not bathtub, but that was ok, being that we like showers anyway. And the shower was great. Lots of pouring hot water. Room 206 was larger being that we had requested a room for four people. It had a tub/shower combo. It was also so clean that I thought it was a new hotel. The staff spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. Huge variety and very filling. We will stay there again. Excellent hotel
