"very nice but a little out of the way."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 28, 2013
The hotel is run by an exceptionally helpful and kind staff. The rooms are well maintained and very clean but the bed was just a bit firm for my taste...Hotel location is very secure and nice but it is about a 5-10 minute cab ride to parque lleras or poblado and about 15-20 to the center, which means a lot of cabs (luckily they are very economical). Had a great stay here though and the night doorman is especially nice and helpful, great guy to chat with.

overall a very clean and nice hotel. My only issue was the hot water fluctuated and it was either too hot or too cold.

"Safe area; Well -designed and safe"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 27, 2012
The location in Pablado was a good choice, with many restaurants nearby. The breakfast was good and the staff very pleasant and helpful in calling a taxi when needed. The hotel has 14 rooms and is well-designed, with all the appropriate safety features, including a locked front door and 24 hour staff. The metro station was down the hill, about a 30 minute walk. After staying at Hotel Casa Deco in Bogota, however, we were a little disappointed that there was a hefty telephone charge, even for local calls, and that the staff did not appear to be well-informed on accessing local activities (e.g. Paragliding and various tourist opportunities). It would have been helpful if they had standard connections with local providers, and/or literature available on activity options, such as the microbrewery tour, the Escobar tour, various excursion possibilities, etc.) or would make some calls on behalf of guests. We had done extensive research, so were able to overcome this obstacle. But It would be especially important for persons who spoke no Spanish. (Staff could not communicate in English). In all, however, it was an excellent boutique hotel and we would recommend it. We stayed, a party of four, in November 2012.
