"Not sound proof."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 22, 2013
Noisy room. Could hear noises coming from other rooms. The receptionists weren't sure on giving directions.

"A Quieter Neighborhood and Close to Metro Station"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 31, 2013
Overall we are happy with our stay at the hotel. At the time of our stay, the hotel is replacing one of their two elevators. So there was only one elevator running. Good that it was not a busy season. The hallway lighting in the hotel is really dim.
"3 nights stay in guangzhou"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 28, 2013
We stayed 3 nights here last year November. Took airport bus to a nearby hotel and changed to a taxi. We called the facility upon arrival and the staff meet us at the roadside. The staff helped us carried all the luggage and showed us the way to get in. Some people complained about difficulty finding the entrance. We didn't have that problem. The room is spacious. We have a small kitchen, bathroom with tub and shower, separate sleeping area, and a living area with small dining furniture, big couch and good size TV. Our room has a big balcony where we can hang our wet clothes from the washer. Staff kept the unit clean everyday without the need to call. View was limited but we were in a city, so we expected to see building around. Construction site right next to the facility but didn't cause any noise problem. We were out all day anyway. Its not that hard to catch a taxi right outside. There were very limited restaurant around. Be prepared to walk a distance or take transportation if you want to eat. We did have food deliver to our unit from a restaurant for one night. Food was OK. Menu was provided inside your unit. I think this is a very good value option if you don't care about getting hotel amenities.
"Nice hotel in a messy neighborhood"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 28, 2013
Hotel staff and service are of good standard, though only one or two of them can communicate in English, but they embody the spirit of service and eager to respond to your concerns.hotel is neat and well maintained, but in a messy surrounding.taxi is tough to come by especially in the afternoon.
"Wonderful Hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 1, 2013
Our room was extremely pleasant. Carpeting so clean it looked new. Beds and bedding comfortable; plenty of lighting and room to move around. Bathroom a good size, with drinking water from a special spigot. Free bottled water plus a machine that offered hot and cold water at all times. Comfortable robes, slippers of higher than usual quality. Free Wifi in room. Friendly, helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Easy 15-minute walk to Huangsha Metro or ShangXiaJiuJie shopping area. Quiet park-like setting behind hotel. Hardly any traffic noise. We will stay here again!
"Convenient Location, Clean Rooms"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 29, 2012
Stayed 2 nights at Q-City hotel. The hotel was in a relatively new building only 5-10 minutes walk to Metro station. The streets outside the hotel is not a busy through road so it's quiet at night. Lots of local street food around the hotel as well. Rooms are clean and spacious. Furnished with kitchen and bath. Overall a great stay would repeat again.

Their english was good enough for comunication. The staff was very helpful. I really do not have any complaints about this hotel except the hotel was hard to find because the heading picture is misleading to what the hotel looked like. But all in all, if I come back to Guangzhou, I will definately rebook this hotel.
