"Great Location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 25, 2013
The hotel is fine. Clean good internet but notexciting or special. The location is great. The hotel is close to two different metro lines and across the street from MixC- the nicest mall in Shenzhen. Given the location this was a good value.

"Great Value, Nice People."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 11, 2013
The staff speak very little English, but the Hotel is great value.the room was cleaned everyday, and done well. I felt guilty that i could not converse with the smiling cleaners. The Hotel is at the edge of the LuoHo paved shopping district. their are subway stations, McDonalds, KFC's and all manor of shops in every direction. if its the electronics your here for then its 3 subway stations away... in short. this place is a great budget hotel.
"Good hotel if you're gonna get stuck in Shenzhen."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 3, 2013
The Nan Hai is walking distance from the ferry terminal, and walking distance to the ex-pat part of Shenzhen called Shekou. This alone makes it a fine choice for people wanting to have an occasional taste of home while visiting Shenzhen. The hotel was clean and nice throughout, though it felt a little dated. The beds were hard, but that's somewhat to be expected in a Chinese Hotel. Overall recommended.
"Clean and comfortable"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 2, 2013
I often stay at the Kempinski Shenzhen mainly for the convenience of access to the Hong Kong airport. The hotel has a shuttle pickup each morning for the HK airport. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are relatively clean although the carpets are several years old and getting a bit stained. The rooms could stand to be freshened up with new carpet.
"Great location but..."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 2, 2013
The hotel was a little difficult to find but once we got there we were glad the place was immaculate. We reserved the Standard Double room. Turns out it's just an American full-size bed and glass encased bathroom. The entire bathroom is the shower room so if you're sharing with someone, s/he will be able to see you shower, use the sink, and use the toilet. Standard Double should enough if you're alone. Otherwise get the Twin room, or next level up. They have ceiling-to-floor windows and room is almost twice as large.
"Awesome Hotel!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 28, 2013
Definitely a 5-star hotel! Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and my room was super clean. Check in process was fairly quick. No issues speaking only English. Loved the dim sum restaurant! Would stay again on my next trip.

"Best price"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 28, 2013
I really enjoyed our stay at City Inn Happy Valley Branch. First I went to the wrong location (City Inn Windows of The World) but luckily those two were very close to each other. Make sure you get the address in Chinese before you go there, the taxi drivers can't read English addresses. Some other guests complained about the noise coming from the Happy Valley but it is only during the day time (till 9pm) and it ends with a wonderful firework show, and we enjoyed it all. We used the room to sleep, and to have showers. They had TV, a small fridge, and, hot water, hair dryer, internet and breakfast. All came with a very reasonable price.
