"Good hotel if you're gonna get stuck in Shenzhen."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 3, 2013
The Nan Hai is walking distance from the ferry terminal, and walking distance to the ex-pat part of Shenzhen called Shekou. This alone makes it a fine choice for people wanting to have an occasional taste of home while visiting Shenzhen. The hotel was clean and nice throughout, though it felt a little dated. The beds were hard, but that's somewhat to be expected in a Chinese Hotel. Overall recommended.

Me and wife stayed in this hotel overnight and we really liked it. The service is good and staff is very helpful.

"walking distance to Lohu station"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 24, 2012
We stayed in the Japanese style room. It was nicely decorated and very clean. Checking-in and out is very speedy. Being able to speak Chinese helps a little! The included breakfast actually is not as bad as others reviewed. We went at 7a.m. so there was plenty of food. Overall, we had a good experience.
"Very comfortable hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 6, 2012
Large room with a soft (for China) bed. Good pillows and linens. I was very pleased with this hotel. There are several good restaurants in the hotel and two large KTV's attached (which I did not use). There is a subway entrance adjacent to the hotel making transportation very convenient. I would stay here again and recommend it highly.

"central location, nice atmosphere, comfortable bed"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 22, 2012
The hotel was very nice. My one big negative was the gym/pool area. I had stayed at this hotel several years ago, when it had first opened--and remember there being a nice pool, gym, spa, etc. This trip the outdoor area of the spa--where the pool is located, was not well maintained at all. It was run-down, and I was a little concerned about the cleanliness of the pool. I did swim once for about a half hour, and it seemed clean enough--but the outside appearance and the lack of maintenance in the outdoors area made it feel a lot more like a 3 star hotel than a 5 star.
"Perfect Location, comfortable beds"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 15, 2012
This was a great hotel, and not too hard to find. It's 1 subway stop from the Luohu border cross from Hong Kong and located near a mall and a pedestrian-only street. The rooms were nice and the deposit was reasonable. I gave service a 3 only because we didn't really use service...other than to check in and out of the hotel, which was easy. We would definitely stay here again.
