"Great Place"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 30, 2012
We stayed for five days in the hotel. It was very convenient to the sights in Chengdu. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Several of the staff spoke very good Englsh and the non-English speaking members of the staff were very good about summoning one of the English speakers whenever necessary. The inclluded breakfast was fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel.
"Great Budget Hotel!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 5, 2012
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was excellent! Very helpful! There was a slight issue with making room to room calls, but they were working on resolving this issue. Overall, this is an excellent no frills budget hotel with very kind and helpful staff! I would definitely stay here again!
"great room but not so near (if you're on foot)"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 4, 2012
I've stayed in several Chinese hotels, and this one has to be the most stylish and cleanest yet. Bathroom was spotless (!), Western toilet. View was nice (rooms seem to be on 13th and 14th floors of the building. My only complaint would be that it's not so close to much of anything unless you take a taxi. I took the airplane bus for 10 RMB to Mingshan Hotel, and then paid anoter 20 RMB to get from there to the hotel. It seems too far from Wuhou Temple or Jinli Street to walk, but a taxi would be perhaps 15 RMB.

"Good but no pool :("Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 8, 2011
All-in-all a good hotel but very disappointed that the pool was closed for an extended period of time for maintenance. This should have been reported on the hotels.com website... instead of having beautiful pictures of the pool. For our family, this was a big downer as we like to soak in the pool after a long day of sight seeing.
