The positives: location is central, right near ski bus; the included breakfast is great before a day on the slopes; the room was spacious. The negatives: the beds are HARD; the room we had (room 106) with a "Matterhorn view" only had a view when walking out onto the patio when you were then staring into the breakfast area (could not see Matterhorn from room!); the front desk service was hit or miss - very rude when we arrived but great when we left.

The staff was most often wonderful and helpful. The room was clean and nice. The food was good. However, the hotel was a long way from the village center and the staff seemed inconvenienced to provide a taxi which they advertised as available for a fee.

Just a nice place to stay. Very nice people rooms are fun and very clean. Maybe the fact that you cannot control the heat in the room was a drag. As long as you keep the balcony door open to cool down the room you will be ok. Great spa and outside jacuzzi. Good ski room with boot heater in each closet nice touch in the morning before you go to ski. Just don't go ski in the Italienne side. We got stock there 1 night in a unconfortable hotel. They close the gondola for no reason ( nothing to do with the hotel) and if you dont have 700 euros to go back via taxi to zermatt you are done!!!! great hotel. We will be back.

Phenominal Hotel! Great location, great service, great value! I would highly recommend this hotel. Ask for a third floor sunny balcony room with a tremendous view of the Matterhorn.

This hotel is incredible! Beautiful, cozy rooms with a wonderful view. The owners Sonja and Christian make their guests feel so welcome! Breakfast is amazing as is the spa. This is the best hotel we have ever stayed at.

The people in the reception and the girl in charge of breakfast were so nice and helpful. The hotel is very clean, something very important for us, and breakfast was great. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is walking distance from the train station. Good sized room with modern bathroom. Great breakfast buffet. Definitely a good value overall!
