Older building near lots of restaurants. The loft room had a personal sauna, amazing!
"Nice, Reasonably Priced Hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 21, 2013
We stayed here for four nights (Thursday through Sunday) asit was one of the more affordable places in Whistler and we were quite satisfied. Having taken the Snowbus, we arrived in Whistler at 8:30 am. Though our room wasn't ready, the hotel was able to check in other visitors that early who had also taken the bus. Our room was ready by 12:30 when we checked back after lunch and we were quite satisfied with it. There were two burners, a small fridge, pots, pans, plates, microwave and a few appliances (I think). The location is a quick walk to the slopes (we stored our skis for free at Carrolton Lodge) yet quiet enough to get some deserved R and R. The staff members we dealt with were all extremely friendly and helpful.
"Real ski-in/ski-out; service need improvement"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 19, 2013
This is one of the few REAL ski-in/ski out in Whistler/Blackcomb area. So REAL - that - except by the car - the best way to each the hotel is on ski. OR you need to walk on the mountain. There is a free bus that going to Whistler and it take less then 10 minutes. From another point - the place is very-very quiet, especially compare to Whistler village, full of night bars. My one bedroom room was simple, but nice and comfortable. Breakfast has many choices. The only issue with this hotel is service. Their maintenance/room service/some front desk people need a little bit more training, saying least ...

"The Harry Potter Room"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 5, 2013
Okay, maybe it's not as small as the Harry Potter closet, but my room was the one on the end of the hotel that was squeezed in there just because they had room. Most other hotels probably have this space as a storage space, or maybe a break room for the hotel staff. There was no room for a desk, there was no chair, no place to set up my laptop...frustrating. It was nothing like it showed on the website. Other than that, the hotel was nice and very well situated on the Village Walk in Whistler. Just make sure when you make your reservation that you don't get the room in the corner on the end.
"Whistler Village"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 29, 2013
Check-in process (like many of the places in Whistler) was clunky...had to check-in across the way, and then back to the hotel. Room was cozy and loved the location. Would stay there again.
"Great Location in the Village"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 27, 2013
Very easy to access to the ski lifts. They have a valet which will take your skis at the bottom of the mountain which is very nice. The biggest negative is you kind of feel like you are being nickel and dimed for everything after paying so much to stay there. Oh, and the shower door in our room leaked water everywhere.
"Nice rooms but location is not the most convenient"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 27, 2013
We arrived late (~10pm) after flying all day and driving up from the airport through traffic. The front desk was closed and we had to drive all the way back to the village to the Blackcomb Lodge for check in. Not sure if I just missed this in our reservation or if it wasn't specified but the whole process of driving back and forth added an extra 45 minutes to our check in. Our room was great -- clean, comfortable, well-appointed. We had a small balcony overlooking the pool/hot tub area below and a fireplace. In unit washer and dryer was nice. The pool and hot tub were great -- perfect temperatures for both! The location of the hotel was not ideal. There is a free shuttle from the hotel to the main village but the wait can be up to 15 minutes and it's about a 15 minute ride.
